Altro UX + design Strategy
Client | Altro
Project Type | UX + Content Experience Design
Project | Altro, a financial empowerment platform focused on helping users build credit and financial confidence, was driving strong traffic to their site, but users weren’t engaging deeply with key pages. The experience needed clearer structure, stronger hierarchy, and more intuitive content flows to help users understand the product and stay engaged.

I served as the lead designer focused on the UX and visual design of Altro’s web and blog pages. My responsibility was to design clear, intuitive page layouts that translated the team’s strategy into a user-friendly experience. While research and strategy were conducted collaboratively, my role centered on shaping how information was structured, presented, and experienced on the site.

Design Approach
The team determined a "How It Works" page would be beneficial to the users to better understand the product, as well as a blog page where users could learn more about credit and financials. I designed a conversion-focused “How It Works” page as well as a blog landing page and supporting pages, creating layouts that emphasized readability, consistency, and user engagement. Across both areas, I focused on aligning content with user intent, reducing cognitive load, and guiding users naturally through information toward meaningful action.

Results
Within three months of launch, the designed pages contributed to a 73% increase in engagement rate, a 22% increase in blog users, a 17% increase in engagement time, and a 16% increase in tracked user actions. These improvements reflected stronger user understanding and more intentional interaction with the site.
